WAUKESHA — Some new options are
slated to join the 5 Joints @ 5 Points family. Under the new
leadership of Executive Chef Al Menning, the restaurant will be
revamping its menu options.
“There are five joints. That’s still the concept. It’s just going to
be a little different,” Menning said.
He said the new five joints will still include BBQ food, as well as
other American fare like hamburgers and hot dogs, an Italian option,
a bakery and something along the lines of either Tex-Mex or
cantinastyle Mexican food.
The Italian and Mexican joints will be opened “shortly,” Menning
“We’re still working out the kinks for the last two joints.”
There will still be some vegan options throughout the menus, but
there will no longer be an entire section dedicated to it.
More entertainment options will also be scheduled to entertain
diners as they enjoy the five joints.
Menning said there will be a karaoke night (with the day soon to be
determined) and live performers every Saturday and Sunday.
Drink specials and food specials will also be offered.
This Friday and Saturday, barbecue professionals will be working
their magic for a rib competition.
“We did remodel some of the (space). It’s still a work in progress
though. We’re gonna get some booths in there because right now we
have patio furniture from the first concept,” Menning said.
5 Joints @ 5 Points, located at 257 W. Broadway, is designed to be a
