MENOMONEE FALLS — All four Kohl’s Off/Aisle stores will close Aug. 3, the Menomonee Falls company announced Tuesday.

“We appreciate all we’ve learned during the Off/Aisle test about inventory management, operational efficiency, store experience and nimble, empowered store leadership,” said Jen Johnson, senior vice president of communications for Kohl’s, in a statement. “We also learned that our strength and ongoing improvements in inventory management across the company does not allow us to appropriately stock Off/Aisle stores at scale.”

Three of the four stores are located in the metro Milwaukee area:

■ Waukesha, 140 E. Sunset Drive

■ Wauwatosa, 1150 W. Burleigh St., Suite 130, in Mayfair Collection

■ Brown Deer, 9060 N. Green Bay Road The fourth location is in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The Waukesha location opened in May 2016 and was the third store to open. The store features merchandise, including women’s, men’s and children’s apparel, accessories and home items from Kohl’s at low prices.

Prices are marked with colored spots indicating the price. No Kohl’s coupons, promotions, gift cards, are accepted. All sales at Off/Aisle are final, with no returns or exchanges.

“We thank all of the associates who did a tremendous job with the Off/Aisle test. All associates from the Off/Aisle locations will have the opportunity to retain employment at nearby Kohl’s locations,” Johnson said.
