Kohl’s Off/Aisle in Waukesha is set to close Aug. 3
along with all other locations.
MENOMONEE FALLS — All four
Kohl’s Off/Aisle stores will close Aug. 3, the Menomonee Falls
company announced Tuesday.
“We appreciate all we’ve learned during the Off/Aisle test about
inventory management, operational efficiency, store experience and
nimble, empowered store leadership,” said Jen Johnson, senior vice
president of communications for Kohl’s, in a statement. “We also
learned that our strength and ongoing improvements in inventory
management across the company does not allow us to appropriately
stock Off/Aisle stores at scale.”
Three of the four stores are located in the metro Milwaukee area:
■ Waukesha, 140 E. Sunset Drive
■ Wauwatosa, 1150 W. Burleigh St., Suite 130, in Mayfair Collection
■ Brown Deer, 9060 N. Green Bay Road The fourth location is in
Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
The Waukesha location opened in May 2016 and was the third store to
open. The store features merchandise, including women’s, men’s and
children’s apparel, accessories and home items from Kohl’s at low
Prices are marked with colored spots indicating the price. No Kohl’s
coupons, promotions, gift cards, are accepted. All sales at
Off/Aisle are final, with no returns or exchanges.
“We thank all of the associates who did a tremendous job with the
Off/Aisle test. All associates from the Off/Aisle locations will
have the opportunity to retain employment at nearby Kohl’s
locations,” Johnson said.
