Suburban Asphalt starts construction of new facility
New Berlin shop expected to be completed in September

NEW BERLIN Ground has been broken for a new facility in New Berlin for Suburban Asphalt.

The new shop facility will be located at 18900 W. Lincoln Ave. Bayland Buildings, Inc. of Green Bay was selected as the general contractor for the new facility.

Suburban Asphalt, currently operating from a building in Franklin, is a family owned and operated paving company founded in 1965 by brothers Terry (Sr.) and Roger Buss. Terry and Roger have since retired and Terry Buss (Jr.) has assumed ownership, according to the announcement.

Suburban Asphalt provides asphalt services to almost all of southeastern Wisconsin. The new facility will include an office/reception area, a parts storage area, a shop area and wash bay.

Suburban Asphalt clients include commercial property owners, property management firms, apartment communities, shopping centers and malls, industrial/commercial facilities, townhouse and condominium associations, and residential homeowners.

Construction is estimated to be complete in September.
