MILWAUKEE — UpStart Kitchen, an
incubator kitchen, will open this summer in Sherman Park.
UpStart will be open to anyone, with priority pricing for Milwaukee
residents with a focus on helping low-to- moderate-income
entrepreneurs addressing socioeconomic and racial disparities in
Milwaukee, according to the announcement.
UpStart will help urban food entrepreneurs start or scale their own
business by providing a 24/7 commercial- kitchen space and business
support services with community partners, according to the
announcement.
Food entrepreneurs can attend one of UpStart Kitchen’s upcoming info
sessions, held in the café at Parklawn Assembly of God Church: 11
a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday or 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 9. |
