— The first dean for Carroll University’s two-year-old School of
Business is no longer with the school.
A spokesperson for Carroll confirmed Tuesday that as of July 1,
Steve Bialek is no longer employed at Carroll and that Julio Rivera,
an incoming William Yersin Endowed Professor in Business Analytics,
will serve as interim dean of the School of Business.
Carroll’s School of Business includes accounting, business
administration, business economics, finance, management and
leadership, marketing and health care administration. Bialek was
also previously chair of MSOE’s Rader School of Business. He earned
his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay
and master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
A search for a permanent dean to replace Bialek has begun.
