WAUKESHA — For the first time Alpine Valley Music Theater is collaborating with a craft beer brewer for its annual concert season.

Made by Raised Grain Brewing Co., a crisp pale ale with bright citrus notes and a hazy appearance dubbed Alpine Haze will be available at the music venue starting Friday to kick off the 2019 concert season.

Raised Grain and Alpine Valley Music Theater also created a special food option to pair with the new brew — The RG Crafted Hot Dog. The humanely raised, all-beef frank is loaded with jalapenos, crumbled bacon and Raised Grain’s signature Beeroli sauce. It is designed specifically to complement the flavor profile of Alpine Haze, according to Tuesday s announcement.

“Wisconsinites love live music, great food and cold craft beer, so this is the perfect partnership for us,” said Raised Grain COO Nick Reistad in a statement. “Alpine Valley Music Theater is a Wisconsin institution and one of the premier amphitheaters in the world. We’re thrilled to be able to collaborate with a local venue that has so much rich history and shares our drive to build a stronger local community together.”

Alpine Haze and The RG Crafted Hot Dog, along with cans of Naked Threesome IPA, Summer Vice Hefeweizen and Take-er Easy Pale Ale, will be available on the venue s grounds throughout the duration of the 2019 concert season.
