BEND — Remote patient monitoring and virtual caregiving technology
pioneer GrandCare Systems of West Bend announced that CEO Laura
Mitchell will speak this week at the Connected Health Summit:
Independent Living and Wellness.
The conference is being held in San Diego.
The sixth annual Connected Health Summit, hosted by research firm
Parks Associates, features keynote presentations from CirrusMD,
GreatCall, Livongo Health, Philips and UnitedHealthcare, with more
than 300 industry health care and technology leaders networking and
discussing case studies for successful solutions in the complex
digital health industry.
According to Parks Associates research, 64 percent of consumers aged
50 and older are interested in a home monitoring system that can
sense emergencies and notify caretakers.
“The days of technology tire-kicking are over,” Mitchell said.
