MENOMONEE FALLS — If you’re a
big fan of Chick-fil-A, or not so much, you have the chance tonight
to share your feedback on a new proposed restaurant location in
Chick-fil-A has approached the village in the hope of building a new
5,000-squarefoot location that would fill the vacant site at the
southeast corner of Bancroft Drive and County Line Road, north of
The application for the Menomonee Falls location states that 75
total employees would work there; 30-40 would be part-time and 15
employees would be fulltime.
The proposed hours of operations would be 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Monday through Saturday with the store being closed Sunday.
A 50-stall parking lot on the west side of the property is planned,
as well as the recognizable dual drive-thru area that Chick-fil-A
locations are well known for.
Following tonight’s public hearing, the Plan Commission will once
again consider Chick-fil-A’s request for Planned Infill Development
(PID) Overlay Zoning to build the new location.
According to a staff report completed by the village, the PID
approval allows more flexible development standards than the
underlying C-4 Suburban Retail Business Zoning District.
This flexibility is intended to provide more incentives for
redevelopment in areas of the community which are experiencing a
lack of reinvestment.
The public hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall,
W156-N8480 Pilgrim Road.
