Foxconn kicks off 2nd Smart Cities Smart Futures Competition

MILWAUKEE — Foxconn Technology Group has launched year two of its three-year “Smart Cities-Smart Futures,” which is intended to support ideas to improve communities.

The initial Smart Cities-Smart Futures competition drew 325 submissions from students, faculty, and staff representing 24 universities and colleges across Wisconsin — resulting in 12 final round winners.

This year’s primary program focus is on smart manufacturing.
