GREEN BAY - The death of a jail
inmate in Brown County is being called suspicious and
authorities are investigating.
Officials say Thursday that
21-year-old James L. Brown, of Green Bay, died Monday.
Natural disease has been ruled out. Toxicology results could
take up to two weeks.
Brown County authorities say
Brown was "displaying seizure-like activity" and
was taken to St. Vincent Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead. The Sheriff's Department says an officer was called to
Brown's pd after another inmate said there was a medical
emergency.
Brown was in jail for
possession of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. He
was awaiting sentencing after revocation of probation.
