BIRCHWOOD - Sawyer County
sheriff's authorities suspect murder-suicide after two men
are found dead in separate fires.
A 43-year-old man was found
dead in a burned out residence Saturday night in Edgewater
Township near Birchwood. Investigators say the nature of the
man's wounds and evidence near the body led them to believe
he was a homicide victim.
Deputies questioned relatives
and friends and developed a suspect. Authorities believe
that suspect was the man found dead in a fire Sunday morning
near an abandoned mobile home near Spooner in Washburn
County.
