MEDFORD - Authorities have
recovered a body that matches the description of missing
man from Medford in central Wisconsin.
A Taylor County sheriff's
department spokesperson says the remains were found
about 10 a.m. Saturday during an extensive search for
46-year-old John Rice.
The remains were found in
a pond on his property.
The search by various law
enforcement agencies began midmorning Friday after Rice
had left a message that was difficult to understand with
his relatives on Thursday.
The news release says the
investigation continues, although there's no sign of
foul play.
