Public meeting for I-43 bridge project in Ozaukee County
Taking place in two locations to best accommodate the public

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region is announcing a public involvement meeting for proposed bridge rehabilitation along I-43. This project starts at Washington Street (WIS 60) and extends to the Ozaukee County northern limit (Pebble Beach Road), in Ozaukee County.

Both meetings will present identical information. It will be an open house format, so attendees may stop in at their convenience and view exhibits, meet with project staff, ask questions, and provide feedback.

The corridor improvements along I-43 include work on ten different overpass bridges. These bridges include: Arrowhead Road, WIS 32/County V, Ulao Parkway, and Sauk Road to the south and County P, Sandy Beach Road, Cedar Beach Road, County D and Silver Beach Road to the north.
Deck replacements are planned for Arrowhead Road, County D, and Silver Beach Road bridges. Bridge deck overlays are planned for Cedar Beach Road, Sandy Beach Road, County P, Ulao Parkway, and WIS 32/County V. Additional work includes bridge painting, beam guard replacement, and other roadway pavement approach rehabilitation.
