The Wisconsin Department of Transportation invites you to a Public Involvement Meeting to address the reconstruction of WIS 83 from ¼ mile south of the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad/Vettleson Road to Campus Drive, including the WIS 83 and WIS 16 interchange. The project will convert the existing 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane divided urban section with curb and gutter, sidewalk, and a multi-use path adjacent to the road. Two new bridges will be constructed over WIS 16 and the Union Pacific Railroad/Vettleson Road, along with a reconstruction of the existing bridge. Construction is anticipated to begin, pending funding, fall of 2017.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hartland Village Board Room, 210 Cottonwood Ave. Staff members will be available to discuss the project with interested individuals and to take your comments about the project. The meeting will have an “open house” format to allow interested persons an opportunity to meet individually with project staff from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and to view exhibits displaying pertinent information regarding the project.
This meeting is an opportunity to ask questions, exchange information and offer comments regarding the project. All interested persons are cordially invited to attend.
