Virginia H. Weinkauf of Mukwonago passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at her residence. She was 82.
She was born Aug. 7, 1923, in Randolph, the daughter of Edward and Agnes (nee Biel) Garvin.
She was a bookkeeper for 50 years for the Mukwonago Public School District, retiring in 1995. She was a longtime and active member of St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago and was also a member of the Third Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include her children, Sandra (Dennis) Grabowski of Lake Elmo, Minn., and Richard (Kathy) Weinkauf of Mukwonago; a brother, Elwood Garvin of Beaver Dam; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Dawn) Weinkauf, Melissa (Brent) Magolan, Stephanie (Mark) Choinski, Benjamin Weinkauf, Annie (Matt) Larsen, Debbie (Brian) Bell and Peter (Lora), Daniel and Patrick (Denise) Grabowski; 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor, on Feb. 24, 1998; a brother, Earl Garvin; and a sister, Lorraine Connaughton.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the rosary service at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home, 315 Main St. (Highway ES), Mukwonago. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at St. James Catholic Church, 830 Highway NN East, Mukwonago. Please meet at church. The Rev. Robert Drutowski will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peterís Cemetery, East Troy.
In lieu of flowers, masses would be appreciated.
