Gordon R. Freudenstein Sr.

Gordon R. Freudenstein Sr. age 59, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at his home. He was born in Rutland City, Vt., on July 22, 1946, to Gordon C. and Mildred (nee Taylor) Freudenstein.

He proudly served this country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Gordon delivered flowers for Old English Flowers for more than 20 years. He also drove a school bus for Hank’s Bus Company, Mukwonago, from 1998 to 2004, and then for Jones Bus Company of New Berlin for the past year. Recently, he became qualified to be a process server for Badger Process and Southeast Wisconsin Process and Investigation. Gordon was so proud of this accomplishment, but he also truly loved his jobs with Old English Floral and driving the school bus.

He will be sadly missed by his three children, Jay-Lynn (Al) Konkol of Avoca, Carrie Ann (Frank) Bart of Avoca, and Gordon R. (Katie) Freudenstein Jr. of East Troy; and 10 grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Linda (Richard) Derrick of Waukesha; brothers, Timothy Freudenstein of Waukesha and Warren (Diann) Freudenstein of East Troy; and two nieces, four nephews, two great-nieces, two great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon C. and Mildred Freudenstein; and his brother, Mark Lee Freudenstein.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 9, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be held Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery at 10 a.m. Please meet at the cemetery. If desired, memorials to the family are appreciated.
