Joshua David Reif

Feb. 5, 1988 - Dec. 6, 2005

Joshua David Reif, 17, of the town of Genesee, died Tuesday Dec. 6, 2005, resulting from injuries sustained from an accident while working in Brookfield. He was born in Waukesha on Feb. 5, 1988, to John and Mary (nee Mervau) Reif.

Joshua was a senior at Waukesha West High School, where he was very involved in the automotive repair class. He also was employed at Dennisís Service Center in Brookfield for the past nine months. Joshua was a member of the Shaw Town Racing Club where he proudly wore No. 120. He had a passion for four-wheeler racing, hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He and his dad were members of Wern Valley Hunting Club and enjoyed hunting pheasants there. He attended Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church where he was a faithful member.

He will be sadly missed by his loving parents, John and Mary Reif of the town of Genesee, and his dear sister, Megan Reif. He is further survived by grandmothers Marion Reif of Frankenmuth, Mich., and Janet Wallington of Grand Rapids, Mich.; several aunts, uncles, many cousins and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Ruben Reif and David Mervau.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha, and then again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Services continue from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 10, at the church. The Rev. Timothy Bruss will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Genesee Cemetery.
