Harry C. Johnson

Harry C. Johnson of Waukesha and Berlin died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc at age 81. He was born in Baraboo on Oct. 6, 1924, the son of Alvin and Ella (nee Getschmann) Johnson.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific. He was united in marriage to Alyce Breitwish on Nov. 23, 1950, at Siloah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. He was employed for the Milwaukee Public School System for many years, retiring in 1985.
Harry was a member of Christ the Life Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha. He enjoyed golfing and deer and pheasant hunting with his son.
Harry will be sadly missed by wife, Alyce of Waukesha; his children, Kathlynn (Richard Roberts) Dietrich of Waukesha, Jon (Candy) Johnson of Milwaukee and Debra (Gregory) Radosevich of Mukwonago; grandchildren, Lisa, Rebecca, Jeana, Holly and Tammy; great-granchildren, Jordan and Devan; and sister, Adeline Binter of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Carl Johnson; and his brother-in-law, Edward Binter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at Christ the Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Ave., Waukesha. Visitation will held from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. memorial service Friday at the church.
