Robert A. Mielke Feb. 20, 1918 - Nov. 8, 2005
He was employed for 30 years at Grede Foundaries and was the owner/operator of Bourbon Barrel for 15 years. He was a lifelong member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukesha. He was also a longtime member and past exalted ruler of Waukesha Elks Lodge 400 and The American Foundry Society. Robert will be sadly missed by his five children, Sandra Cadd of Waukesha, Jo-Ellen (Ken) Van Gorder of Camron, Kari (Pete) Hertl of Watertown, Robert (Sandra) Mielke of Mukwonago and Sara Mielke of West Bend; grandchildren James, Leah, Alissa, Allen, Leigh, Kyle, Emily, Kasie, Shaunta, Abby, Allison, Holly, Gregory and Christopher; 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, LeRoy (Joan) Mielke of Tavernier, Fla., and James (Carolyn) Mielke of Keshena. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris; one brother, Clyde Mielke; one sister, Ferne Doughterty; and his parents. Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until the 5:30 p.m. funeral service Monday, Nov. 14, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev.
