Robert A. Mielke Feb. 20, 1918 - Nov. 8, 2005
He was employed for 30 years at Grede Foundaries and was the owner/operator of Bourbon Barrel for 15 years. He was a lifelong member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukesha. He was also a longtime member and past exalted ruler of Waukesha Elks Lodge 400 and The American Foundry Society. Robert will be sadly missed by his five children, Sandra Cadd of Waukesha, Jo-Ellen (Ken) Van Gorder of Camron, Kari (Pete) Hertl of Watertown, Robert (Sandra) Mielke of Mukwonago and Sara Mielke of West Bend; grandchildren James, Leah, Alissa, Allen, Leigh, Kyle, Emily, Kasie, Shaunta, Abby, Allison, Holly, Gregory and Christopher; 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, LeRoy (Joan) Mielke of Tavernier, Fla., and James (Carolyn) Mielke of Keshena. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris; one brother, Clyde Mielke; one sister, Ferne Doughterty; and his parents. Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until the 5:30 p.m. funeral service Monday, Nov. 14, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. A. Mielke of Waukesha died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at Waukesha Memorial
Hospital at age 87. He was born in Waukesha on Feb. 20, 1918, the son of
Hugo and Meida (nee Tews) Mielke. He was united in marriage to Doris Goff
on March 28, 1942; she preceded him in death Aug. 26, 2004.
