Richard G. Lock, 76, of Waukesha, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at Avalon Square. He was born April 5, 1929, in New York, N.Y., to Seibel and Florence (nee Eckert) Lock.

He received his bachelorís degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1951 and later earned his masterís degree from Union College in 1961.

On May 17, 1952, he married the former Annie Morrison in Buffalo, N.Y. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict as a physicist in New Jersey. He worked for GE for 41 years where he was a member of the Elfun and GE Keymen, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church since the early 1970s where he served as treasurer. He enjoyed bowling and golfing.

He will be missed by his wife, Annie "Nancy" of Waukesha, along with their children, Thomas (Kathy) Lock of Oklahoma City and Laurie (Richard) Holly of Waukesha. He is the dear grandfather of Sarah, Andy, Meghan, Alyssa and Adam and is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the 2:30 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Nov. 20, at Zion Presbyterian Church, N13-W28771 Silvernail Road, Pewaukee. Private burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery.
