Erlah Headley of Sussex died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at Menomonee Falls Community Hospital at age 84. Erlah was born on in the town of Lisbon on July 24, 1921, the daughter of Theodore and Isabelle (nee Kurtz) Siewert.
She was a longtime member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, member and treasurer of the Women's Guild and a member of the Priscilla Circle. Erlah was a longtime member of the adult choir and she served as a church council member. She also enjoyed being a member of the city park and recreation senior swim group and was the office manager of Wisconsin Laminates for more than 40 years.
Erlah will be sadly missed by her husband of 63 years, Henry Headley; her daughters, Pam Reetz (Jeff Snopek) of Delafield, Jill (Scott) Land of Waukesha and Jean Earhart of Salt Lake City; her grandchildren, Janna (Stuart) Mason, Carrie (Habib) Zaatar, James, Peter and Megan Land, Chad (Leila) Earhart, Brianne (Tony) Litster and Haley and Blaire Earhart; her 11 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Beulah (Byron) Evans of Wales and Joyce Evans of Wales. Erlah was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Theodore; and brother-in-law, Clayton Evans.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Saturday, Nov. 19, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha.
