Margaret Jane Murphy

Margaret Jane Murphy, 40, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, quietly in her sleep at home, after a brief fight with liver cancer. She was born in Waukesha on March 11, 1965, to Judge Roger P. and Arlene (nee Laubenheimer) Murphy.
Margaret enjoyed volunteering her time and talents for the Republican Party, at Happy Times Nursery, River Hills Nursing Home and the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ. She will be remembered as an artist who was very active at the Donna Lexa Community Art Center. She also loved to dance and going to the Seven Seas Restaurant and the Elks Club. She was also a lifelong member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ.
She is the beloved daughter of Judge Roger P. and Arlene Murphy of Waukesha; fond sister of Mark (Jennifer) Murphy and Tom (LeAnne) Murphy; and best aunt to Abe, Ben, Gavin, Keegan and Nolan. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alice and Frank Murphy, and maternal grandparents, Delia and Robert Laubenheimer.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, 413 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha. Private interment will be at the Laubenheimer Family Cemetery in Richfield.
