Harriet M. Bethke

Harriet M. Bethke, a longtime Waukesha resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at the Masonic Home in Dousman. She was born in Palmyra, the daughter of Fred and Lena (nee Olsen) Agen.

Harriet was united in marriage to George Bethke in 1928 in Waukesha; he preceded her in death in 1988. Harriet was employed at Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center for 25 years and was a member of St. William Catholic Church for many years.

Harriet will be sadly missed by her son, Don (Pat, nee Pucci) Bethke of Bonita Springs, Fla.; two grandchildren, Dr. William (Janet) Bethke of Eau Claire and Suzanne (David) Kerr of Delafield; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Ashley and Emily Bethke, and Amanda and Matthew Kerr; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister and brothers.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Oct. 8, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Entombment will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.

Memorials may be made to the Disaster Relief Effort of Hurricane Katrina, c/o the Salvation Army, 445 Madison St., Waukesha, WI 53188.
