Robert A. Williams

Robert A. Williams of Pewaukee was born to eternal life Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the year of our Lord 2005 at age 90.

Robert was a U.S. Army World War II veteran who served his country in the Asiatic-Pacific theater. He was a Pewaukee police officer from 1955 until 1967, and served as the head usher at Gethsemane United Methodist Church for many years.

Robert is the loving father of Connie (LaRow) Pestka of Pewaukee and Dan (Mary) Williams of Lake Mills; dear grandfather of Paul (Michelle) Williams of De Pere, Julie Williams of Sturgeon Bay, Sherrie (Jeff) Clutts of Interlocken, Mich., and Kathryne (Dave) Janu of West Allis; and proud great-grandfather of Jacob, Tyler, Allyson, Elizabeth, Harrison, Samuel and Grace.

Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Irene (nee Bond).

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, Oct. 7, at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 642 Main St., Pewaukee; the Rev. Peter Peterson will officiate. Interment will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, from Yonke and Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee, proceeding to Forest Hill Cemetery.
