Marie Jimenez, 62, formerly of Waukesha, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Zilber Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Antonio on March 14, 1943, to Lucio and Manuela (nee Carrasco) Lugo.
Marie was a graduate of Waukesha South High School. She enjoyed dancing and was a loving and caring woman.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Esther (David) Gnat of Waukesha, Rita Marie Jimenez of Milwaukee and Malinda Ann Jimenez of Waukesha; three grandchildren, David James Binder, Angela Marie Binder and Riley David Gnat; sister and brothers, Jovita (the late Eusebio) Garcia of Waukesha, Paul (the late Shirley) Lugo of Nebraska, Lupe (Frank) Rodriguez of Waukesha and Tommy (Stella) Lugo of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Eva Lugo of Waukesha; and a special friend, Jose Gerena. Nieces, nephews, many cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Javier, on Oct. 23, 1987. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Joe and Aurelio Lugo.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. vigil service Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Services continue with prayers beginning at 9:15 a.m, Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home, followed by the procession to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Graveside services to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
