Linda Jean Krueger

Feb. 17, 1948 - Oct. 9, 2005

Linda Jean Krueger, 57, of Johnson Creek, formerly of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, in Green Bay. Linda was born Feb. 17, 1948, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Elmer Paul and Regina (Blawas) Behling.

On Nov. 15, 1969, she was united in marriage to Harold Krueger at St. Anthonyís Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Together they lived and worked in the Shawano area for about 20 years until just recently moving to Johnson Creek. During their time here they were active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Linda worked for many years at Shawano Medical Center and was especially proud of her position as a lifeline coordinator there. Lindaís gentle and caring nature helped her to relate well to the elderly that she served. Outside of work, Linda had many loves, including her love of flower gardening. Everything she touched would grow. She also loved being the audience for her son Nathanís singing and her son Joelís guitar-playing and was an avid UW Badger football fan. The last game she saw was against Michigan. She had a love for animals, especially her cocker spaniel, 3-Putt, and her cat, Cheeta. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans for gifts and watching old western movies and romantic comedies, including her most recent favorite, "Hope Floats." Linda was a good mother, a friendly person, always the optimist and slow to judge. She will be missed by all.

Linda was the loving wife of Harry; mother of Nathan Krueger of Tuscan, Ariz., and Joel (Mollie) Krueger of Chicago; and sister of Nancy (James) Schmitt of Butternut and Judy (Burt) Kreiling of Roseburg, Ore.
