Janet Remfrey, 83, of Waukesha and formerly of Delavan, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 29, 1922, the daughter of Martin and Zita (nee Daley) Moran.
Janet married Robert Remfrey on April 14, 1943; he preceded her in death Oct. 18, 1985. She then married Frank Terzick on Oct. 22, 1988, and he passed away Aug. 16, 1993. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Robert Remfrey Jewelry in Jefferson from 1948 until 1980. Janet was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars-Waukesha and was very active in 4-H around the area. She also was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Michael) Konkol of San Diego; two sons, Patrick Remfrey of Menomonee Falls and Frank Remfrey of Waukesha; 11 grandchildren, Lynn, Jeffery, Amy, Bradley, Andelee, Patrick, Brian, Eric, Vanessa, Charles and Roberta; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Doering of Darien; a brother, Joseph (Sylvia) Moran of Darien; also nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Remfrey; her second husband, Frank Terzick; her son, Michael Remfrey; and two sisters, Marjorie and Mary.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Oct. 14, at Monroe Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Holbus officiating. Burial will be at St. Andrews Cemetery in Delavan.
