Violet Bergwall Nov. 1, 1907 - Oct. 2, 2005
She worked at International Harvester. Violet met her husband, Eric Bergwall, at the Indiana sand dunes on a church picnic. They had two children, Beverly and Byron, then moved to Waukesha. Violet worked for Hein-Werner until she retired in 1975 and moved with her sister, Carita Erickson, to Vista. Violet was a long time member of the Vista Womenﾕs Club and the First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed ceramics and many other activities. She was a great storyteller and loved talking to people. Violet is survived by her sister, Carita Erickson; daughter, Beverly Dauber of Eagle Point, Ore.; son, Byron Bergwall; and daughter-in-law, Sue of Collinsville, Okla.; grandchildren, Amy, Eric, Julie and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Travis, Lindsey, Eric, Shane, Tanner and Kyle; and great-great grandson, Mason. She was preceded in death by husband, Eric; sister, Myrtle; brother, Richard; and great-grandson, Brandon. A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 6, at First Lutheran Church in Vista.

Violet Bergwall, a longtime resident of
Vista, Calif., passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in her home surrounded by
her loving family. She was born Nov. 1, 1907, in Chicago, where she, her
sister, Carita, and brother, Richard, grew up.
