Pete Herr

Pete Herr, 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at his residence in Oconomowoc. He was born in Oconomowoc on Sept. 22, 1930, to Ronald H. and Ruth (nee Bender) Herr. On Oct. 19, 1957, Pete married Joanie Ice in Oconomowoc.

Pete was the former owner/operator of Herr’s Mobil in Oconomowoc. He was a member of Oconomowoc Lions Club.

Pete is lovingly survived by his wife, Joanie; his children, Lori (Lee) Falvey of Dousman, Peter (Joni) Herr Jr. of Oconomowoc, Ronnie (Sue) Herr of Waukesha and Lisa Herr of Oconomowoc; eight grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Lois Jones of Dousman, Gerald Herr of Sullivan, Richard Herr of Illinois and Dody Foss of Jefferson; his sister-in-law, Shirley Clayton of Pennsylvania; and his mother-in-law, Ann Novak of Pewaukee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marlene.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, Oct. 28, at Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc. The Rev. Scott Moore will officiate.
