Albert P. Hanson

Albert P. Hanson of North Lake passed away Friday, March 31, 2006, at age 92.

Albert and his late brother, Fred, owned and operated the Hanson Brothers Tavern in North Lake. He was stationed for five years in the South Pacific during World War II while serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Hartland American Legion Flanagan Dorn Post 294 and a member of the Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church.

Albert was an avid gardener and devoted uncle to his brothers children, Rita Lund, Suzanne Copps, Carol Koltz, Kristine Culver, Fritz Hanson, Mary Schultz and Therese Said. He is further survived by other relatives, patrons and friends.

In addition to his brother Fred, he was preceded in death by his sister Marie Nehs, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2006, at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland. Interment will be in St. Peters Cemetery, North Lake. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to AnglesGrace Hospice.
