Edith O. Noak

March 7, 1915 - April 1, 2006

Edith O. Noak, age 91, formerly of North Prairie, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at her daughterís residence in Waukesha.

She was born March 7, 1915, in North Prairie, the daughter of Hayward and Edith (Blanchard) Bratley.

She is retired from Waukesha Engine and previously taught school, first through eighth grades. She was a member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church in North Prairie, where she was active in the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed reading, crafting and knitting.

She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Jerry) Waltman of Waukesha, Arlene (James) Speerbrecker of Waukesha, Diane (the late Earl) Ormsby of Brookfield and Edwin Noak of Waukesha; and 10 grandchildren, Brian, Scott (Christina), Kelley (Rick), James, Deanna, Rachel, Jaime, Jeffrey, Brian and Bridget.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, 312 N. Main St., North Prairie. The Rev. LeRoy Hass will officiate. Burial will be in North Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
