Ferm ‘Rocky’ Heytens Jr.

Ferm "Rocky" Heytens Jr., 75, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Heartland Health Care Center in Pewaukee. He was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Superior, the son of Ferm Sr. and Adrienna (nee Van Damme) Heytens.

He had been part owner of the Wisconsin Wheel and Rim Co. in Wauwatosa and a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Eagle. Ferm enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Margaret (nee Mutchie), whom he married Oct. 30, 1982. He is also survived by his children, Jeffrey (Karoline) Heytens of Franklin, Michael Heytens of Elkhorn, Bruce (JodieLee) Heytens of South Milwaukee and Paul Heytens of Elkhorn; stepchildren, Helen Miller of East Troy and Tony Miller of West Allis; grandchildren, Rachel, Bruce Jr., Kyle, Derek, Dylan and Amanda; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Friday, April 21, at St. James Catholic Church, 830 Highway NN, Mukwonago. The Rev. Robert Drutowski will officiate.

If desired, memorials to St. Theresa’s land fund, St. Catherine’s High School in Racine or the donor’s choice are appreciated.
