Betty Ann Alyea

Longtime Bethesda Lutheran Home resident and former Waukesha resident Betty Ann Alyea, 52, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Watertown Memorial Hospital. She was born March 15, 1954, in Waukesha, to Harold and Helen (nee Johnson) Alyea. Betty enjoyed listening to music with her father, sharing coffee and quality time with her family and friends.
She was a cherished daughter to her mother, Helen, and very dear sister to Frederick (Charlotte) Alyea of Dunwoody, Ga., John (Laurel) Alyea of San Carlos, Calif., James (Jeanne) Alyea of Wheaton, Ill., Marian (George) Schmoller of Marshfield and Robert (Jaclyn) Alyea of Germantown. Many other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold, and her beloved aunts, Esther Johnson and Jeanette Olson.
Visitation for Betty will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, April 22, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.

Betty held a unique and special place in the hearts of her family. She cherished the little things in life - ordinary things, like coffee and cookies in the afternoon - that most of us take for granted.
