Neva B. Meyers

Neva B. Meyers, 71, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at her daughter's home. She was born in Waukesha on Nov. 3, 1934, to Byron and Esther (nee Tempero) Davis and lived on the family farm.
Neva attended Torhorst Grade School and then graduated from Pewaukee High School in 1952. On Sept. 12, 1959, she married Loren Paul Meyers at the First United Methodist Church in Waukesha. Neva had worked at Alloy Products, Wisconsin Centrifugal, Post Newspapers and other newspapers. She worked with her daughter and son-in-law to start their business, Visiting Angels. After retiring, she continued to help her family by taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Waukesha Continental 13 Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, serving as vice regent. Her family heritage can be traced to 1631 in England.
She was the loving mother of Laurie (Scott) Stollenwerk of Pewaukee; grandmother of Genevieve and Lauren Stollenwerk; and sister-in-law of William (Lorraine) Meyers of Shell Lake and Charles (Min) Meyers of Waukesha. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loren, on Feb. 11, 1999; her brothers, Harold, Wilbur and Hollis; sisters-in-law, Kay Morton and Dorothy Meyers; and brothers-in-law, John Morton and Warren Meyers.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Monday, April 24, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Tabernacle Cemetery on Bryn Road in the town of Delafield. Please meet at the cemetery.
