Richard David Reimer

Richard David Reimer, 56, of Waukesha, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006.

Rick grew up and attended school in Madison. He was extremely proud for having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a Vietnam veteran who played and coached wheelchair basketball in Milwaukee and also played wheelchair hockey and softball.

He is survived by his dear wife of 35 years, Janet. He is also survived by his sisters, Alice (Mauritz) Mortenson of Minneapolis and Derilyn (Tony) Cattelino of Madison; brothers-in-law, Calvin (Virginia), Alexander (Mary), Duane (Selma), Frederick (Christina), Edmund (Audrey), Robert Erickson and Jeffrey (Connie) Williams; and sisters-in-law, Gretchen (Tom) Resan and Kathy Dean. He is further survived by a special friend, Leslie Waltke, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dear daughter, Andrea Esther, in 1995, and brother, Norman "Ned" Dean.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, April 29, at Church and Chapel Rudolph-Larsen Bros. Funeral Home, 380 W. Bluemound Road (corner of highways J and JJ).

Memorials are preferred to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, 9200 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53226.
