Frances I. Kober

Frances I. Kober, 98, of Mukwonago, passed away Saturday Aug. 5, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Frances was born in East Troy on May 11, 1908, the daughter of William and Rose (nee Quale) Powers.
She was a 1926 graduate of East Troy High School. She married Charles "Kobe" Kober in Mukwonago. He preceded her in death on Mar. 18, 1980.
Frances was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago and she loved to knit.
Survivors include a nephew, James "Milton" Kavanaugh; a niece, Rosemary Hozeska; a great-nephew, Mike (Kay) Kavanaugh; great-nieces, Kathy (Dick) Dooley and Siri (Tim) Kavanaugh-McDougal; a great-great-nephew, Andy Kavanaugh; and great-great-nieces, Briana and Erin Dooley and Elizabeth Kavanaugh. She is also survived by her late husbands, nieces, Barbara (Dick) Hanson and Judy (Bob) Wagner, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Cecelia Kavanaugh and Dorothy and Alice Powers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Aug. 8, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at the Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home, 315 Main St. (Highway ES), Mukwonago. Deacon Greg Price will officiate.
Francesí ashes will be laid to rest privately at St. Peterís Cemetery in East Troy.
