Frederick E. Pennoyer

March 19, 1924 - Aug. 4, 2006

Frederick E. Pennoyer, 82, of Oconomowoc, formerly a longtime resident of Pewaukee, was born to eternal life Friday, Aug. 4, 2006.

He was the loving husband for over 54 years of Irene (nee Carter); dear father of Steven (Sue) Pennoyer of Pewaukee, William (Kathleen) Pennoyer of Wauwatosa, Nancy (Patrick) Babe of Oconomowoc, Paul (Justine) Pennoyer of North Lake, Renee Baye of Pewaukee and Dennis Pennoyer of Stone Bank; proud grandfather of Damon, Troy, Kara, Margaret, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Kaitlyn, Jasmon, Kailan, Shelina and Krystal; fond brother-in-law of Jane (Don) Williquette, Shirley (Ted) Wiese and Charles Mehciz. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Fred was in the United States Air Force, serving his country during World War II in the Pacific theater. He worked for Wisconsin Bell for more than 36 years before retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Pewaukee Fire Department for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and birdwatching.

Funeral services will take place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the funeral home. The Rev. William McBride will officiate. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will be at La Belle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
