Carl Samuel "Sam" Fulton of Waukesha died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at age 56. Sam was born Sept. 15, 1949, in West Allis, the son of Lloyd and Evelyn (nee Russell) Fulton.
Sam married Ellen Jane Chamness on Jan. 13, 1973, in Appleton. He was a graduate of Wauwatosa East High School and had a bachelor of science degree in history from Carroll College. He worked in the maintenance department at Carroll College, was co-owner of Pioneer Food Service at Carroll College and Catholic Memorial High School and most recently was the owner of Pioneer Management Systems. Sam loved music and played guitar, he was a computer and electronics junky and enjoyed photography, camping, woodworking, watching old movies and sailing. Sam was a very generous man with a great sense of humor. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.
Sam will be sadly missed by his wife, Jane; children, Brian and Laura Fulton, both of Waukesha; brother, James (Marcia) Fulton of Panama City, Fla.; father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Elaine Chamness of Waukesha; brothers-in-law, Warren (Jacqueline) Chamness of Pewaukee and Ronald (Cheryl) Chamness of San Antonio; and sisters-in-law, Ami Fulton of Panama City and Sharon (Edward) Frye of High Point, N.C. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Sam was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Allen and Richard Fulton.
Visitaion will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Friday, Aug. 18, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Richard Engen will officiate.
