Edward E. Pierschalla

April 13, 1922 - Aug. 18, 2006

Edward Edwin Pierschalla, 84, of Oconomowoc, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2006.

He was born April 13, 1922, in Hatley, the son of Joseph and Anne (nee Falkowski) Pierschalla.

After high school, he joined the U.S. 5th Army Air Force and served in World War II in the southwest Pacific Theater. He was self-employed as a wood worker, specializing in custom-made products. Ed really enjoyed polka music and dance as well as playing the harmonica. A wonderful husband, father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Marguerite (nee Niegelsen) and his children Mary (Michael) Haave, Paul Pierschalla, John Pierschalla, Elizabeth (Victor) Rosenthal and Warren (Alexandra) Pierschalla. Also surviving are his grandchildren Sarah (Greg) Oswald, Rachael Haave, Nathan Haave and Eric Rosenthal; his brother Larry Pierschalla; his sister Jeannie (Art) Nitchize; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 211 S. Main St., Oconomowoc. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Edward will be cremated.
