Cecil Hipke, 71, of Waukesha, answered the ﾒlast callﾓ Monday, Aug. 21, 2006, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Merrill on Feb. 21, 1935, to Harold ﾒHappyﾓ Hipke and Eloise (nee Travis) Hipke.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (nee Schultz) of Waukesha; his children, Jay (Debbie Russell) of Waukesha, Wendy (Dave) Kinzbach of Hartford, Jon (Lisa) Hipke of New Berlin and Tracy (Ken) Zettelmeier of Mukwonago; his sisters, Janice Kleinschmidt and Bonnie (Wally) Schwartzman, both of Merrill; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jessica.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, Aug. 26, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Full military honors will follow. A private interment is planned.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for Breast Cancer Research, c/o Cancer Care Center at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188.
