C.S. (Scotty) Carpenter

C.S. (Scotty) Carpenter passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at age 92.

Before moving to Colorado in 1969, he lived in Pewaukee, where he and his wife were charter members of Galilee Lutheran Church. At that time, Scotty worked for A.O. Smith in Milwaukee, before being hired by the Adolph Coors Brewing Co. in Golden, Colo., in May 1969, where he was the divisional director of manufacturing of glass-lined tanks for the storage of beer.

Scotty was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Irene. He is survived by three children, Jelayne (Charles) Jorgenson of Wheat Ridge, Colo., Barry (Carole) of Pewaukee and Arlin (Willetta) of Oconomowoc. He is further survived by six grandchildren, Scott (Debbie) Carpenter of Waukesha, Susan (Tom) Beranek of Oconomowoc, Kim (Ron) Lauersdorf of Lowell, Lisa Carpenter of Okauchee, Eric Jorgenson of Hollywood, Calif., and Kiersten Jorgenson of Tulsa, Okla.; four great-grandchildren, Ben, Eric, and Grace Carpenter of Waukesha and Jacob Beranek of Oconomowoc; as well as four step-greatgrandchildren, Danny, Mike, David and Christie Briscoe of Waukesha. Scotty is further survived by one brother, other relatives, and many friends.

Services were held Aug. 21 at Faith Lutheran Church in Golden with burial at Golden Cemetery.
