Fanny A. Olson

Fanny A. Olson, 95, of Waukesha, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at LindenGrove Health Care Center after a long and happy life. She was born in Hancock on Oct. 19, 1911, to Fred and Maude (nee Ingalls) Brown. She was a longtime member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Sherman (Marilyn) Olson of Cottonwood, Ariz.; daughter, Connie Kopshinsky of Waukesha; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Olson of Pewaukee. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Valerie (Charles) Jones of Missouri, Craig (Julie) Olson of Arizona, Deneen (Frank) Bartholomew of Pennsylvania, Bruce (Charlene) Olson of Arizona, Dale (Lisa) Olson of Waukesha, Don (Lynn) Olson of Waukesha, Dan (Mary) Olson of Mukwonago, Jeri (Rick) Sass of the town of Summit, Jim (Colleen) Kopshinsky of Waukesha and Lori (Mike) Boehmke of Waukesha; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters-in-law, Arietta Zimmerman, Eidabelle Sann, Wanda Dean and Violet Olson. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Olson; son, Dale Olson; son-in-law, Paul Kopshinsky; brothers, Claude, Lloyd, Archie, Jim and Arlie Brown; and sisters, Alean Harris and Maudy Shafer.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Dec. 3, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Entombment will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
