Tina L. Kemmerling

Tina L. Kemmerling, 35, of Hartland, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.

Born on Nov. 2, 1971, in Springfield, Ill., he was the son of Clifford L. and Bonnie (nee Fischer) Harper.

On Feb. 16, 1996, she married Gordon R. Kemmerling, Jr. of Juneau. She was a 1989 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School, and she also attended Black Hawk Technical College in Janesville. Tina worked for the Sherwin Williams Company in Milwaukee.

She enjoyed all outdoor sports and liked to read Nora Roberts novels. Tina was devoted to her son and daughter, and was a very involved grandmother to Bradi. She called Gordy III "her little angel."

Surviving Tina are her son, Gordon Ray Kemmerling III of Watertown; her daughter, Toni Lee Harper of Glendale Heights, Ill.; her stepson, Alek Demetropoulos of Verona; and her parents, Clifford and Bonnie Harper. In addition, she is survived by her grandmother, Anna Jean Wynn of Atlanta, Ill., her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gordon Kemmerling Sr. and Karen Kemmerling of Watertown; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dan (Vicki) Kemmerling of Watertown; her sisters, Tricia (Jay) Eighmy of Jefferson, Theresa (John Heyrman) Trzebny of Dousman and Tuesday Evans of Madison; her brother, Charles (Kevin Reed) Harper of Seattle; her granddaughter, Bradi Lee Harper; and her favorite niece, Paige.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Gordon Kemmerling, Jr. in 2004; her brother, Tony Ballinger; her maternal grandparents, Edwin and Dorothy Fischer; and her paternal grandparents, Clifford B. Harper and Louise Bostick.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, as well as at 10 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Watertown, where a funeral service will follow at 11 o’clock. The Rev. John Reinke of South Wisconsin District of the Lutheran Church is officiating. Burial is at Richwood Cemetery in Richwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her children’s and grandchild’s educational trust fund.
