Theodosia ‘Theo’ Wuebben

Feb. 1, 1918 - Dec. 20, 2006

Theodosia "Theo" Wuebben of Mukwonago was born to eternal life Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at age 88. She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Ell and Anastasia Dinos.

As a child and young woman she was very involved in the Greek community with family, school and church. Theo worked as a secretary in the switchgear and control division at Allis-Chalmers, where she met Arthur Wuebben. They were married Nov. 28, 1953, and shared 53 years together. Theo enjoyed being a wife and mother and all it entailed. She did needlework, sewed many outfits for her girls and was a wonderful cook who truly enjoyed cooking for her family. She had a vast collection of cookbooks and enjoyed just looking through them to create something special. She was an avid reader. She was thrilled at the arrival of each grandchild and was a loving and involved grandma. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as watching the birds and wildlife in her yard, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her family. Theo was an active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was known for her loving heart and ways and was happiest when she was taking care of her family.

Theo will be sadly missed by her husband, Arthur of Mukwonago; three children, Andrea (Dennis) Grasmick of Chaska, Minn., Carolyn Clauter of Brookfield and David (Lauri) Wuebben of Hortonville; five grandchildren, Andrew (Emily) Grasmick, Gabrielle Grasmick, Timothy Wuebben and Michael and Adam Clauter; sister, Angeline Holtman; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Emanuel Dinos.

Visitation wil be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha, with the Rev. Timothy Bruss officiating. Burial will be held at Pinelawn Cemetery, Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church or the charity of one’s choice.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wheaton Franciscan Hospice staff for their loving care and concern.
