Charles Braunschweig, 65, of Oconomowoc, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, in St. Germain.
He was born April 19, 1940, in Watertown, the son of the late Wilbert and Nancy (nee McLaughlin) Braunschweig.
Charles worked as a gas operation supervisor for We Energies. He was a member of the Watertown Elks Club, Rock River Hall of Fame, Lost Lake Water Association in St. Germain, Johnson Creek Pioneers baseball team for 35 years and former member of the Johnson Creek Fire Department. He was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oconomowoc. He loved deer hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends up north.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sandra (nee Stamm) Braunschweig; his children, Ted (Stacey) Saxe and Gina (Todd) Wehmeyer, both of Oconomowoc, and Troy (Kim) Saxe of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Logan and Grace; his siblings, Jim (Cyndi) Braunschweig and Carol (Babe) Wishowski, both of Johnson Creek; four grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Susan Lockman officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Johnson Creek. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist.
