Grove W. Kremer

Grove W. Kremer, 82, of the town of Merton, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at AngelsGrace Hospice. He was born in Waukesha on Feb. 18, 1923, to Joseph and Clara (nee Kling) Kremer.

He was a World War II veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Army in Germany and France. Mr. Kremer was an avid hunter and sportsman. He enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes and was a sign painter. He was affectionately referred to as the "Big Kahauna."

He is survived by his former wife and lifelong companion, Regina "Frenchy" Kremer of Waukesha; stepchildren, Gary (Mitzi) Sorenson, Steve (Lynda) Sorenson, Richard (Jerri) Sorenson and Phylis (Michael) Trujillo; nieces, Patricia Harris and Judy Saenz; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Delbert, and sisters, Mildred and Leola.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 11, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
