James A. Clark

James A. Clark, 68, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born in Burlington on May 6, 1937 to the late James H. and Bernice (nee Huening) Clark. Jim was a physics teacher and educator at Waukesha County Technical College. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed continuing the family tradition of farming. Jim was a collegiate athlete and was known to many as Coach Clark. He was very active in St. Dismas Jail Ministry. He was a long-time member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church where he was a member of the vestry and served as junior warden. Most importantly, Mr. Clark will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was the fond son of Bernice Clark of Waterford; loving husband of Catherine M. (nee Morrissy) Clark of Waukesha; dear father of Lynne Henschel of South Carolina, Jay (Pamela) Clark of Holmen, Beth (Michael) Kangas of Africa, Susan (Brett) Sawdey of Richfield, Adam Clark of Waukesha and Abigail Clark of Waukesha. Loving grandfather to Anna Cihlar, Kyle Boldon, Lindsey Henschel, Jenna Krause, David Henschel, Jane Clark, Tessa Clark, Emma Sawdey, Sarah Kangas, Denise Sawdey, Madalyn Sawdey and Ellen Clark; special great-grandfather to Jasmine, Gabriel, Jade and Kelley; and dear brother of Judy (Dennis) Lindhorst of Caldwell and Deborah (Gene) Gracey of Illinois. He will also be missed by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. from 4-7 p.m. A service of reflection and eulogy will be held at 7 p.m. Services continue on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 111 E. Main Street, Waukesha for a Funeral Mass at 3 p.m. Burial will be held at Caldwell Cemetery on Thursday, and please meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. for the procession. Memorials are appreciated to St. Matthias Episcopal Church or St. Dismas Jail Ministry c/o St. Vincent De Paul Society.
