William ‘Bill’ Darrell Love

March 15, 1932 - Feb. 11, 2006

William "Bill" Darrell Love, 73, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born March 15, 1932, in Owensboro, Ky., to Lawrence and Muriel (nee Sinnitt) Love.

On June 3, 1954, he married the former Marion Quinn who survives him. Bill had earned a master’s degree in physics from the University of Florida. He retired from GE Medical Systems after 38 years of service. After his retirement, he became a horse enthusist. He eventually owned four horses and attended many horse shows and events. He also enjoyed volunteering at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

In addition to his wife, Marion, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Michela Love of San Antonio; brothers, L.T. (Mary Wilen) Love of Walla Walla, Wash., and Gerald (Beverly) Love of Mount Carmel, Ill.; sister, Marilyn Wedding of Winter Park, Fla.; and one very special nephew, Mark (Denise) Hill of Owensboro. He was preceded in death by his son, Darrell Love, on March 6, 2002; his parents; and his brother, Donald.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Feb. 16, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial of cremated remains will be in Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
