Arthur S. Bach

Lifelong Waukesha resident, Arthur S. Bach, age 86, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Oak Hill Terrace.

He was born Feb. 23, 1919, to Peter and Mary (nee Jaworski) Bach. Mr. Bach proudly served in the United States Army during World War II and was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He had an active involvement with Waukesha Park and Rec softball teams for more than 20 years.

Beloved father of Steve (Franny) Bach of Madison, Jim (Char) Bach of New Berlin, Ken (Sue) Bach of Des Moines, Iowa, Becky (Steve) Binzak of Germantown; special grandfather to Erica Bach, Elisabeth (Jason) Bach-Van Horn, Ted Bach, Melissa (Fred) Gaylord, Sara (Scott) Martin, Andy Bach, Molly Bach, Annie Bach, Paul (Ann) Binzak, Michelle Binzak, Kim Binzak and great-grandfather of four.

He is the dear brother of Adeline Mlodzik of Waukesha and Rosemary (Hans) Nader of Waukesha, with nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, and his daughter, Kris, and seven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., with a parish vigil at 6 p.m. Services continue Wednesday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to Vitas Hospice.
