Marion E. ‘Mary’ Moses

Marion E. "Mary" Moses, 85, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, in Waukesha. She was born Aug. 1, 1920, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Nellie (nee Woodward) Palmer.
On Oct. 30, 1937, she was united in marriage to Clyde Moses. Mary was a 30-year employee at the veterans hospital in Waukesha and Wood (MIlwaukee). She enjoyed traveling and needlework and was the granddaughter of Fairfield and Excelsior (Sauk County) pioneer families. Mary was devoted to her immediate and extended families.
She is survived by four children, Edith (Neal) Mason of Suwanee, Ga., Donna (Michael) Heinzelman of Santa Rosa, Calif., Walter (Jean) Moses of Wauwatosa and Marsha (Rudy) Schiller of Lodi; her brother, Clark Palmer; and her sister, Elva Heyman. Marion is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and her lifelong friend, Lucille Nelson.
Preceding her in death are her husband; grandson, David Schmitz; brothers, Raymond, Roy, Arthur, Frank, Harry, Chet, Harvey and Orville Palmer; and sisters, Catherine Burmeister and Ella Palmer.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 1, at Wisconsin Memorial Park West Chapel, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield.
The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice.
